Dr. Seifter has been practicing oncology in the Baltimore area for over 40 years. He is director of Greenspring Personal Oncology and is happy to be affiliated with Greenspring Personal Medicine. 

He received his BA in Biology (Honors) at the University of Pennsylvania and his MD at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by a Medical Oncology fellowship at the National Cancer Institute at NIH.

Dr. Seifter has also been an Associate Professor of Oncology and Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center since 1987. He has also been honored with several teaching awards and continues contributing valuable research and education in his field.

Outside of work, Dr. Seifter and his wife coach ‘It’s Academic Quizbowl’ teams at local elementary, middle and high schools. He also enjoys collecting fossils, playing tennis, and traveling the world.
