As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Byrd has a passion for comprehensive, personalized patient care.

From an early age, she knew she wanted to be a doctor, and genuinely believes that her profession is a calling, not just an occupation. As your physician, she will cultivate a wellness plan that is tailored to your healthcare goals so you can live a vibrant, active, and healthy life.

Dr. Byrd is a certified member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital and earned her MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neurobiology at the University of Maryland, along with a Minor in Music Studies, graduating cum laude. Previously, Dr. Byrd was a Partner Physician at Park Medical Associates.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Byrd enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, as well as playing tennis and practicing the piano.
